The CYCLEZ Expander Wedge & Hex Bolt Set is a high-quality OEM replacement designed specifically for 22.2mm steerer tubes. This set is commonly used on old school BMX bikes, vintage road bikes, hybrid, cruiser and quill stem adapters requiring an expander bolt. With an overall bolt length of 171.45mm (6-3/4”), this expander provides proper reach and secure stem clamping where shorter bolts fall short. Manufactured in Taiwan, this set offers reliable fitment, smooth expansion, and durable performance. Note: This expander is NOT compatible with 21.1mm as it will not tighten fully. Always measure your steerer before ordering.
- HIGH-QUALITY STEEL CONSTRUCTION – Durable steel quill stem bolt and expander wedge provides strong clamping force, wear resistance, and long-lasting performance. Hex Bolt Size: 171.45mm / 6-3/4”
- DESIGNED FOR 22.2mm QUILL STEMS – Precision fit for 22.2mm (1”) threaded steerer tubes. Not compatible with 21.1mm steerers.
- SECURE & STABLE CONNECTION – Ensures tight stem expansion and secure handlebars for safer handling and smoother rides.
- WIDE BIKE COMPATIBILITY – Suitable for road bikes, city bikes, cruisers, BMX bikes, and quill stem adapters requiring a 22.2mm expander.
- SLEEK CHROME FINISH & EASY INSTALLATION – Polished silver hex bolt resists wear and corrosion; simple installation with standard hex tools.
