A pocket-sized espresso machine that pulls a real shot. Capsule or fresh ground, your hot water, pressure from a built-in pump. Charge it once, then brew on a trail, in a car, at your desk, or in a hotel room with nothing to plug in.
The Nomad Espresso Press is a wireless portable espresso maker with 15-bar pressure extraction, dual compatibility for Nespresso-style capsules or fresh ground coffee, and a 2000mAh rechargeable battery. One button, fully automatic, no outlet needed.
Espresso that travels.
Stainless steel and rechargeable electronics require simple, consistent care. The unit disassembles by hand for cleaning.
How does it brew without an outlet?
The built-in 2000mAh battery powers an internal pump that drives 15-bar pressure. You add your own hot water to the 3.4 fl oz tank, drop in a capsule or ground coffee, and press once. Recharge over USB-C in about 2 hours.
Can I use any capsule brand?
The capsule chamber fits Nespresso Original Line capsules and most compatible third-party pods. Vertuo capsules do not fit.
What grind should I use for fresh coffee?
A fine espresso grind, similar to table salt. Fill the ground-coffee basket level, not tamped hard. Over-tamping restricts the pump and stalls extraction.
Does it make crema?
Yes. With fresh-roasted beans ground fine and dosed correctly, the 15-bar pump builds a real crema layer. Capsules produce lighter crema due to pre-ground age and lower oil content.
Is 15-bar pressure enough?
Yes. Ideal espresso extraction happens around 9 bars. Machines rate peak pressure, not brew pressure, and a 15-bar peak typically delivers 9 to 10 bars at the puck, which is exactly where you want it.
